The University encourages individuals to immediately report acts or threats of sexual assault, intimate partner (dating/domestic) violence, sexual exploitation, stalking, or any dangerous behavior to the University of Alabama Police Department (UAPD) or local police authorities. With respect to reports occurring in Gadsden at the UA Gadsden Center, individuals should contact Emergency 911 or the Gadsden Police Department at 90 Broad St., Gadsden, AL 35901, (256) 549-4578.
The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX Programs is available to assist a Complainant with reporting to UAPD or local law enforcement; however, a Complainant is not required to report to law enforcement.
