Notice of Nondiscrimination
In accordance with Title IX, the University of Alabama does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX and its implementing regulations, including in admission and employment. The University is committed to providing an environment free from discrimination based on sex and expects individuals who live, work, teach, and study within this community to contribute positively to the environment and to refrain from behaviors that threaten the freedom or respect that every member of our community deserves.
The University has a designated Title IX Coordinator, Jessica Humber, who shall oversee implementation and enforcement of the Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy, compliance with applicable rules and regulations, and coordination of communications between campus and community partners. Inquiries concerning the application of Title IX may be made to the University’s Title IX Coordinator or to the Office of Civil Rights.
